This album is okay after a couple listens. I had hoped for something more mind blowing honestly, but a solid DT release for sure.

I really like the keys and the bridge section, especially due to Stanne's cleans.
If I were to pick a least favourite, it'd probably be "The Pitiless" cuz it's the most standard DT track on the album; it makes sense why they picked it as the first single.

The Pitiless is still awesome to me, that build-up into the main gets me really pumped. The lyrics rule too, just a great anthemic jam. Whole album is a collection of them really.

Encircled is probably my favorite DT track since whatever from Fiction. This album started of really strong but as usually with DT, it gets monotone fast. Still very enjoyable.

idk for some reason some people expect all their albums to be about the riffs
the last 2, arguably 3, were more about the atmosphere than the riffs. so were haven and projector. and from that point of view, they're solid. in fact we are the void is the only one that comes close to being monotonous out of their entire discography since like the 89 demos as septic broiler imo.

love stanne's cleans on this one, they remind me more and more of depeche mode which is awesome

This is actually growing on me pretty hard.
I'm also going through something really difficult in my life right now and Our Proof if Life is crashing down on me.
Just wish the last 3 tracks weren't so meh.

very cool Crysis, but honestly, that album cover is so bland. The color choice is weird and it's just an abstract blob. I don't get any feelings from looking at it, and it doesn't make me want to listen to what's inside.

If by "better than Construct" you mean it has more atmosphere, sure (though even there I would argue Construct is stronger). Still a cool album this, but def a step down from Construct
