10 years ago, who would have thought that the Devil Wears Prada would evolved this much. Its amazing how much these guys have grown since their debut.

The compression isn't out of the ordinary for the genre; the guitar tone is actually pretty standard, it's just utilized and mixed incredibly well.

It's alright. Definitely a good amount of monotonous filler, although some standouts here and there.

Storm man you and I have very different definitions of 'god status'

I swear, the Devil Wears Prada could make the next "The Shape of Punk to Come" and people would still find reasons to complain about it, just because its the Devil Wears Prada. I get why somebody wouldn't like this, and that is perfectly fine, but some of these critiques I hear on Sputnik and in real life are just stretching it.

Most underrated song on this album - Home for grave part 2??
Last 15 or 20 seconds is just pure sex.

Great review. On the same page with the majority and then some.
Mike's vocals are spot on, has definitely found a more organic, raw, and genuine sound. When I heard Daughter I was sold.
To the Key of Evergreen is a masterpiece. The brutal start trudging along, a highly atmospheric ambience throughout the entirety of the song, simplicity in the lyrics, and that urge to hit repeat in completion.
The album as a whole may not be an actual 4.0 on par with many other bands that play a lot more consistently, but this has the potential in being TDWP's best output.
Some really good tracks on this album, some flow to the LP as a whole, but comparatively to bands within the genre it falls only a tad short.
Also, Worldwide is a joke. A catchy joke, but a joke nonetheless. I have a tough time imagining how anyone let this track slip into the album.
