but if they for ex did more blasty stuff then I woulda had to mention deafheaven like twice as much as i already have and nobody wants that so I think the amount of riffs is pretty balanced.

this is a "metal" album stylistically in ways but thematically is where it shines, imo. i think if ppl can get over how the riffs/energy are balanced and focus more on what's happening beneath that then they'll enjoy this slightly more

tbh the main reason I review is to promote discussion and rep music I like and maybe help listeners look at music a certain way but I don't hinge it on an expectation of ppl agreeing. it's nice when readers think you're ~right~ but
