Can't get enough of that technical riff on Ghosts of home. Jim does that good kind of wankery

Good to know I'm not the only one

I think that's probably one of the main reason they've been so underground compared to peers like Queensryche and DT

I'm surprised about the production complaints, this sounds pretty punchy and rich. It's a bit overcompressed, but then which modern metal album isn't. Joey's bass sounds dull like on DIADL, and that's my biggest complaint sound wise

I listen to this while driving and lean my leg next to the speaker and I can feel every kick drum hit, it's awesome.

This is not my favorite Fates Warning album, but I definitely find it to be a great addition to a highly consistent discography. "From the Rooftops" may be my favorite Fates Warning opener since "Part of the Machine," discounting related projects like Arch/Matheos.

Hoping Jim works on an OSI record before the next Fates record

The OSI releases keep getting worse and worse -their debut is the only one I like
