Lmao, you're impossible to argue with. I didn't take it personally at all man, but sure, make it look that way if it makes you feel better. Couldn't care less what you think of this album honestly, just tried to make you understand this album better. Guess that's too much to ask without you mocking me huh.

If you think this only consists by blasts and sweeps, check Rings of Saturn

That's a pretty generous assessment of the intent of your comments, "make you understand this album better." Just posting "lol" about my original posts doesn't exactly scream constructive conversation. Anyway, fair enough, I don't get any pleasure out of arguing over nothing.

I actually like Rings of Saturn to be honest.

Thanks, Brain. As I said, forgive me for interpreting "lol" and "calling this wank is just dumb and wrong" as anything other than "trying to make [me] understand this album better." The entire time I've said in my opinion to qualify my statements.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

their first album embryonic anomaly is the best by far. but even that is like bad/good, like junk food. It has a certain filthiness and mud to it that their later releases just dont have

I'd say prog music can often times be wanky but tech death not so much since the point is to be technical.

Yeah, for whatever reason I'm not feeling this much. While I'd say it's a more impressive work than Obscura's latest on a pure raw talent perspective, Akroasis is a more enjoyable listen for me. And Zealotry has a much harder and brutal edge that I tend to want a bit of in my death metal.

This is very pristine and over-the-top. And those are two things I avoid when trying to find death metal. This separates itself from other tech death by being a bit more impressive and by having some soft pieces that are actually very nice on the ears.

Akroasis is so much better than this.
