That’s fine only if you join. Hot dog water is best in groups

i only come back to the first 4 (mostly Texas). i guess it's apparently reevaluation time.
also, not a Jaws hater tbh, i think it's got some nice melody ideas with really bland execution but i appreciate it for not being watered down CWTS pt2 and instead just soft rock ptv + Nirvana (not that i think it's better than this album, those aforementioned 4 are enough to clear lol)

"i only come back to the first 4 (mostly Texas)"

Agreed, definitely the best tracks.

"instead just soft rock ptv + Nirvana"

Outside of the obvious 'Pass the Nirvana', I am not getting any Nirvana vibes out of the rest of this. But yeah, I am not terribly up in arms about Jaws, it is just so bland and forgettable.

oh i literally meant soft rock PTV + the track Pass The Nirvana haha! definitely not a grunge album (which may have fared better)

The first half of Misadventures is better, sure, but too many people sleep on Sambuka and Song For Isabelle. What a slappin' way to end an album.

Okay rating raised but this is still mostly meh outside of the first 3 tracks. A lot of this sounds like the second half of Collide With The Sky but extremely watered down with no bite

Listening now for you platy and Sambuka is not as good as the opening 3 tracks but runs in a similar vein and is pretty decent. Would have been the best track on the new one lol. I do appreciate that it’s short and sweet but loses some of the grandeur and theatrics of other PTV tracks as a result.

Song for Isabelle is fine as well, but just feels like a weaker version of high points from CWS. I’ll admit it ain’t bad though. It just doesn’t feel as epic as what they were trying for.

Aight lol I'll stop bothering you about those two then. You gotta point though in saying that Sambuka would be a top song off TJOL.

@Jay - I remember disliking Circles when this album first came out but it's honestly grown on me.

Might actually be their catchiest song imo. I even like it more than most of Collide lol

I admit it's pretty catchy, but I'm not sure if there's any song off Misadventures I like more than/as much as Collide lol maybe Dive In?
