Got a vinyl copy of this on Sunday and Side B is so good. I didn't realize how partial I am to the second half of the album. I let go of some of my dislike toward Time is a Length of Rope, as well. Most of that song is really good.

so far this hasn't clicked with me. I liked how their first two albums and the Death of Day EP all have a somewhat distinct sound. this one just seems like more of the same. im feelin a light 6 on this one

Yeah, I thought they captured a pretty different sound. I mean its definitely O'Bro, but the vibe on this is consistent throughout and doesn't remind me of Garden Window or the Death of Day at all- maybe a little leftover from Disillusion.

I don't like the first half nearly as much because it's louder, which the production doesn't help. Second half is more subdued and brooding, even focusing on the atmosphere that was churning underneath the first half.
