This album is more raw and spontaneous than Blaze. At this stage the band already knew perfectly the sound they wanted to explore

maybe id like this better then? tried blaze twice and walked away underwhelmed :/

this is straight bm with the treble turned all the way up, whereas Blaze wasn't as raw but had a less concise sound since it had a lot of old dm riffs in it. Pretty different directions imo so I'd recommend giving it a shot.

I mean I love all Darkthrone for the most part but the bm trilogy will always be my fav. Then there's the albums that came before and after the trilogy which are also 2 of their best albums so yeah early era Darkthrone is def my fav.
