i hate the actual band tool for being pretentious asshats. music's good tho. maynard is just a huuuuge prick.
They execute their ideas too well for me to honestly dislike the pretentiousness. The last two albums should have been absolute pretentious bullshit, but instead they were refreshing views on music as a whole. For this, I respect Tool through all of their ridiculous ideas.
