Signed in for the first time in like a year because the hype around this album is so unjustified it's not funny and I need to vent. The guitar tone is terrible, the song structures jump around without any focus or catharsis, and the tuff guy vocals are so average. Dive is amazing, Snakes is decent, but goddamn I don't understand the rest. Nothing on Gunship.

I agree with him entirely tbh. The drums/ guitar tone and the way they mix is so par for the course as far as alt metal goes and there isn't much else that grabs attention either
