theres totally skramz in sunbather. a few of the climaxes are super envy-esque. also some of the drummers parts in dream house and pecan tree are v skrammy. judah a little bit too..this album, not so much

Yes to skramz on sunbather, but not so much on here.

And yeah this is def hipster metal, particularly because a lot of the people whom happen to like it are not metalheads of stereotypical variety. Of anything, hipster metal should probs be seen as a compliment.

yeah I think that you can only define yourself as a metal head, I mean you can look the part and dress like you're walking out of a slayer show in 1988 or you can not dress the part like me. like when I think of 'metal head' I think of a guy that just listens to metal. I like a lot genres, but I think my true sweet spot is metal and I think I find the most natural pleasure in metal. but 'metal head' I'm not
