I absolutely love the sound they went for on L,FatTM. Everything from the organ/piano textures, the heartwrenching and emotional vocals and perfect balance of musicianship and restraint makes this album such a enjoyable listen

They took a risk with this album changing to such a hackneyed style, but damn the songwriting is too good to not love this. Beautiful stuff. Lost and Towards the Blue Horizon have to be my faves

This kinda came out of nowhere and it is completely left of field in every way. Basically trip hop. They said the new album would be heavier but then again I'm pretty sure they also said it'd come out next year so maybe they were just trolling bcos this is easily the most ambient stuff they've done, who knows maybe its a one-off tribute to piotr, a closing track or something. Didn't do heaps for me first listen, there were moments but it was overlong but i guess i have to give a song like this quite a few more listens for it to properly sink in. Either way Im SUPER intrigued for this album after this completely unexpected teaser
