I saw the videos. Youtube comments are gold considering what the show normally broadcasts.

Damn, Blythe sounds good live. His vocals were low in the mix though.

blythe is one of the best vocalist in metal...some of the riffs on this are a little boring though after a couple listens.

Bought a copy of this today and I have to say, it sounds better than when I first heard it. Not the most original in the riff department but Randy's vocals are solid.

Band is still amazing live, but I can't really cope with this album. I listened to it for the first time today, and I only got halfway through it. I will listen to the remaining half later, but I sure hope it gets better.

Blythe just got assaulted in Ireland. He'll need to stop touring in Europe if stuff like that keeps up.

So these guys just ducked out of their European tour over security concerns. So much for the whole tough guy act

It is an act, you know. When it really comes down to it, under all the machismo bad-assery, people still value their lives.

They aren't in any more danger than the countless others who have to go on with their lives, get on crowded public transit, go into work and don't have the luxury of giving in to fear. Slayer are going on with their tour, children of bodok and sylosis (the other bands on the same bill as LoG) are still going. So you'd think Randy with his whole tough as nails/political activist persona would be the last one to give in to this sort of thing

We all have families, friends, girl/boy friends, spouses, friends, etc. We can't just all suddenly give up on life because of this, if we do then we might as well just admit defeat. Both bands LoG was touring with have gone on with the tour, as mentioned. Men and women are putting themselves in just as much danger getting on a crowded subway/train/bus every morning when they go to work
