I don't doubt it Pleb bro.

Perfect Life brings the nostalgia tones but I have no idea why seeing as I don't have a sister and if I did they wouldn't be as cool to jam This Mortal Coil or arseholy as to say 'water has no memories'

"I actually thought there would be more female vocals than there is, as he put a lot of emphasis on them in the studio videos"

I expected there would be more female vocals too, and I was actually a bit disappointed during the first listen, as it seemed really promising and interesting. Especially during Ancestral when it says: "When the world doesn't want you, it will never tell you why", which appeared as an amazingly poignant moment in the video preview when it was sung by the woman. I remembered that when listening to the actual song for the first time, but it just lost a bit of its emotive power when sung by Wilson himself. I know it's supposed to fit the concept of the song better as the lyrics are addressed to the woman, and Wilson's delivery is still great, but it just felt more vivid in the preview. One of my few minor complaints about the album actually.

Bringing it back on track there's a lot of love getting thrown around for this but is it better than Raven? Nah.
