"wait this is getting praised?"
'Yes, this is their most critically praised album to date.'
Lol, it's their worst by far. But Centuries is a solid song, so it's not totally worthless shit.

the only reason it's getting critical acclaim is because it's a pop album
dooooooof SO BOLD! hurr durr PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES! durtff IMPORTANT STEP FORWARD!
unfortunately when you strip away the narrative bullshit it's still just a shitty pop album

Everyone's calling the album art bold and edgy, I don't see it/get what makes it so great.

If I had my way Fall Out Boy would live in a studio for a 12 agonizing months writing 15-20 songs with just their main producer. Butch Walker or George Martin are the only two guys I'd want producing it. So basically only Walker. No more collabs on the writing process please

I thought SR&R was more praised than this.

It should be.

Well yeah, but that says more about the lack of quality on here than it does about the greatness of SR&R

It lacks a lot of the ambition and a lil of the songwriting of Save Rock N Roll. Basically two steps backwards.

Save Rock & Roll didn't even that good songwriting. There were only like three songs I could stand on it.

Sometimes I do wonder if I just listened to that Elton John song twelve times in a row every day for a month or if it was the whole album.

Alone Together was pretty decent, I don't remember the other ones by name

Alone Together and Young Volcanoes were alright but ultimately have no lasting value.

The Phoenix also wasn't too bad. This is just garbage though.

There's a few songs here which aren't bad, but damn there's some terrible tunes. Lyrics are urghh.

You know something's up with your movie when one of the best parts about it is a Fall Out Boy song in the credits.
