You cannot see it Mythos. It could not be more self-evident. Ayn Rand was very anti-communist, yet a devotee of a more ornamental atheist utopia. Buildings with teeth if you will. Look at the cover art of the album, then look at the jacket of her book "The Fountainhead". Then listen to the last song "Just A Ride". I am assuming you know about Ayn Rand and her philosophies.

I suppose "Winslow" speaks better to this bankrupt philosophy of Ryandisim. "I want to know...
why are we breaking bottles when this well is running dry?
drunk on Aerosol Shithole Paradise
keep them guessing
make them sweat it out all at once
we've always been
I think I'm better than them
spirits thick as thieves the building speaks in riddles". "Pack away those old Euphoria Grenades
look at all of them reaching, look at all those hands
pulling, grabbing, pushing in the interest of an understanding wasteland
Winslow! Oh, Winslow...
don't look away now!"

That's deep thinking bro haha haven't really examined those lyrics that much. The most I've examined is Dead Rope Machine, Dark Charade and Salutations from this.

Oh man, indeed that's some deep thinking. No, I didn't know about Ayn Rand and your comment made me do some quick research, so I'm glad for you pointed it out, Unfortunately, I'm not sure I found the exact picture you relate to the cover. Do you mind providing a link?

Well I ran ahead of myself, the book covers I found online do not convey my point well. I must have remembered it it from an earlier printing. It was a striking similarity though.

anyhow,it's a nice opinion that could make sense. I don't think that all the album is written about her, maybe a song or two, even three, but not all of them.

Found it after much searching. Her cult is very protective of her image. She is like a Demigod to Right Wing elites. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.3quarksdaily.com/.a/6a00d8341c562c53ef0112790ee9fe28a4-150wi&imgrefurl=http://www.3quarksdaily.com/3quarksdaily/page/851/&h=251&w=150&tbnid=WchR_sIl9ZQ-hM:&zoom=1&docid=yfiwy1ez4KnPKM&ei=nb-5VLbcCLbGsQSR54CYDw&tbm=isch&ved=0CBIQMygKMAo4ZA.

My pre-ordered CD arrived today. I've fallen in love with this album, and now I can sit and listen to it on my dad's high-end sound system.

First four tracks are brilliant fun, last four are incredibly underwhelming.

I fucking love Salutations and Radio though. Salutations is their best lyrics by far.
