Not bad tracks but there's drops in quality, main thing I'm suprised is how good Kyo sounds when he destroyed his voice on the previous 2 albums. There's a drop in quality but he's still superb.

Rinkaku is a contender for best DEG song, that chorus is so goddamn feelsy and Kyo's vocals nail those harmonies.

That part when it just goes all silence and Kyo comes in so softly, so good.

I'd say Uroko, Phenomenon, and pretty much all the last 5 tracks minus The Inferno (which is still amazdballs though) are the god tier tracks here. Midwife comes close as well.

Yea Midwife is great. Regarding the first four songs opening this album, my fav is probably Soshaku of the bunch. But it switches back and forth between that one and Uroko sometimes I find.

The opening first 4 are awesome, then it dips a bit until the final 5 for me.

Agreed, although Rinkaku and Midwife make the middle worthwhile. Sustain and Inferno aren't favs though.

That is true, really enjoy both of those. I love Sustain so much, the instant I hear every instrument go DUN DUN with that larger then life production job I lose my shit. Inferno I like much more in context since it along with Mankind/Midwife are the only tracks which focuses on his harsh vox, which I love. But it's still really fun to put on with those bouncy grooves and Kyo going mad on the album for once.

Yea it gets a little more intense towards the end. It might also be the sequencing that makes Sustain slip off my radar a bit cos it's sandwiched between the album's most melodic tracks. Need to give it some more spins I think.

The hint of slap bass in the break after first chorus is a nice little touch.
