it's strange, i used to consider circa to be one of the most boring bands ever, but they've quickly risen to the top of my most listened to artists. on letting go, this, and violent waves are my favourites, but all of their albums have outstanding material

They're for sure a band that rewards repeated listens - Anthony's voice tends to take centre stage the first 4-5 times you hear any of their albums (for better or worse depending on how you feel about it) but then you suddenly realise how excellently all the songs are composed, how good the lyrics, how tight the albums are thematically etc etc
