"Yeah there is something wrong with it....this is fucking metal. If I want estrogen and liberal whining I can go listen to plenty of other genres."

There are plenty of women in metal and plenty of leftist politics in metal. Have been for a long time. The difference with Bastards is that it's a terrible song and incorporates leftist politics in a completely tone-deaf way.

I like how the issue you have with this, of all things, is the use of characterization wherein he mocks "the rednecks" and their slurs for various groups (blacks, gays, etc.). You're a child.

My issue is not with the message of either song. Both songs at least feature an attempt at an empowering message. My issue is that Flynn is using unnecessary derogatory language in order to convey a message that would be much more effective without it. And, as I said before, these words simply should not be used in any context. I understand that Flynn is trying to reclaim them and empower people but he would really empower them so much more if he just left these words alone.

Tbh his last video was laughable as hell. And that's coming from someone who enjoyed catharsis

Catharsis is OK I guess but it's still worse than anything on Ashes, Blackening, or Locust.

Nope! I took my mandatory province-wide Literacy Test in high school and passed with flying colours. It was a happy moment in my life and my parents were very proud of me.

Ashes was a massive step in the right direction, blackening was an epic classic, and locust and bloodstone were excellent but not at the same level of the blackening. Right now catharsis is the only good song of the album, beyond the pale is tolerable but nothing else, the other shit well is awful
