The energy on this is great, other than that it is a pretty average release. This wouldn't have had a third of the hype it did if it weren't for Caleb.

I really wanted to like this just a titch more, because I like the message being put out. I would have ate this up if it came out when I was like 13.
The music itself is average at best, but the harsh vocals are just horrendous. Normally I'd like rough vocals for something trying to convey so much emotion in the lyrics, Defeater for example, but these are just... no. The closer should be this monstrously emotional ordeal, but I just couldn't stop either laughing or cringing at the delivery. The clean singing is passable.
Are either of their other records worth listening to or should I just save myself a headache
