I feel like this is their first fully plot driven release. the plot was less of a focus than the themes in the last two eps, and bad luck was more of a few vignettes than a full story. i'm pretty baked tho so

i don't think any trophy scars will ever beat darkness, oh hell for me, but that's because it fit an emotional niche at the time that its tone was perfectly suited for.
this is a straight up excellently performed record, i'd be really interested in justification by the people who weren't impressed.
