After the Party deserves the attention. This album was highly anticipated after OTIP but is much more of a grower and was disappointing to many because it didn't have the immediate catchiness of OTIP. I think After the Party is being well received because it's much friendlier on a first listen compared to this and is definitely more in the vein of OTIP, so I guess many would consider ATP a more honest followup than this.
