Ah you're right about the wages being lower mainly in Eastern Europe, i'm from Portugal so i would know. I believe the cost of living is still higher in all of Europe though, like u said even on richer countries like Norway, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland and such there are tons of taxes and basic resources are more expensive than on US.
