i think it's hazier and more meandering at times and thus far less accessible, though certain songs are easy to get into like red eyes

a lot of the more meander-y parts still have that motorik feel though, which makes it sound like the song's going somewhere even if that isn't actually the case

i'll agree to that, but when i notice a trend in that the songs usually aren't actually going somewhere, it becomes sort of impossible to ignore. i'm going to give it another proper spin today when i go for a walk and see if i like it any better

I liked this pretty instantly much more than Slave Ambient, but since this came out I've grown to like Slave Ambient more as well.

Seriously, this is so good. I love the lyrics and the hazy feel to the atmosphere.

I love how the instrumentation seems to employ more catchiness than the actual vocals; the vocals are so understated but still such a big part of why the album works. I listened to it last night while driving around, and it was bliss.

Do it bro. And yea it's definitely catchy more than anything else. It has its fair share of beautiful tracks though.

Yeah, I think that it's given more meaning when the lyrics are taken into account as well. It makes me look at the whole album a bit differently. 'Suffering' is one of my favorites.

Ocean between the waves and Disappearing are quite stellar back-to-back.
