Finally listening to these guys, this is really good. I feel like they restrain a little too much at times though, building for a few minutes and then finally letting it loose but then they bring it back down before you can really enjoy the payoff, and then start another buildup. Just my feelings after the first track, looking forward to the rest.

Opening track is actually stellar for work-outs I've realized

I like the new one a little more than this but it's still really great. Gotta hear the debut soon.

Can't wait til you get to Men as Trees on the list. It was the project that preceded Locktender, same guys and all, but with a different approach to the genre

Hey hey, for those interested, I play drums in a band that has Nick, the Locktender vocalist, plays bass in. We just put out an EP and I figured some of you might dig it! Its instrumental post-rock/metal math-ish kinda stuff. Here’s a link… Cheers! https://rootsandruins.bandcamp.com/album/die-right

Forgot all about this - band are generally Efrafa worship (not a bad thing) but fuck Burghers is an all timer. It just fucking goes and goes

Burghers is god damn amazing.
On the downlow (we're on the open internet, who am I kidding), inside sources are reporting 'tender may be cookin up some of that sweet new-new. Not imminent by any means, but tangible nonetheless
