idk everything about this is just too reminiscent of WYWH, it's almost comical

Yeah, i suppose. SW even said that he didn't continue in this style because he didn't want to keep copying Floyd

Good thing too, honestly I enjoy their 2000s stuff the most, as much as I try to get into their earlier stuff which also rules.

Couldn't ever get into UTD and Signify. Sunday is a lost cause

No one likes Sunday, Signify is amazing and probably their best. I loved UTD at first but it grew off pretty fast, still good though

Sunday has a couple of good songs but most of them are just laughably bad

Waiting Phase One into Sever is amazing, but I just never got into the rest of the album. Definitely better than LS and SD though

At least he actually made good music when he ripped off Floyd though.

I think you'd deny my implication about his other material though ;)

I will never understand your feelings towards Deadwing, FOABP and IA

You guys are making this soun like this album is a complete clone of WYWH like damn. It really isn't. It's just the structure and occasionally guitar sound honestly.

This by no means sounds like WYWH. Seriously, what Mongi said and maybe even less.

Of course it's better haha. Like I said in my review, he was still developing his voice here. The album lacks it's own sound at some points and does take from the structure of WYWH, but does that make it a complete clone of WYWH? Nah.

WYWH is way beyond this. 0.5 had never been such a distance between two albums for me. But this is unique and beutiful in its own way. Worse or not, I don't think it tries to immitate WYWH, so judging it according to it would be false. I think of it as one of the best PT albums.

it's really only the album's overall structure that resembles WYWH, the rest is very different

Exactly. Sometimes the guitar sound resembles Floyd but doesn't take away from the experience at all.

I once listened to phase one on a breezy spring day whilst waiting for a train and it was heavenly
