Incredible review; I think you're spot on in your analysis here. It is successful because it's an emotional release, which may mean that it's more divisive as a listen for people that might see that as a flaw.

In case anyone doesn't feel like reading the track by track, here's the rooms and their associated songs:

1. In Trances (Entrance/Doorbell)

2. No Nature (Basement)

3. No Nurture (Living Room)

4. Next To Ungodliness (Bathroom)

5. Connector (Hallway)

6. Myth of Lasting Sympathy (Closet)

7. Hand Over Mouth Over and Over (Bedroom)

8. Kuroi Ledge (Balcony)

9. Recluse (Attic)

10. Shaking of the Frame (The extra room with no purpose or function that's in almost every house)

Kuroi Ledge has an amazing build up, but I have yet to be impressed by its climax. I expect more every time I hear it.

I dig the song the more it goes along. Intro is fairly uncomfortable for me.

Oh well hopefully the first half grows then, I just thought you would dig Ungodliness because it's probably the most immediate track here.

yeah I know and I immediately didn't like it hahaha.

na but the tracks I did end up liking were the denser ones like no nurture and kuroi ledge. I hated kuroi ledge when they uploaded it before the whole album was out. really like it now
