brief candles in the mind

bright and tiny gems

of memory

brief candles burn so fine

leave the light inside

where she can see

what makes it all worth while

her sadness makes her smile

@Septic,

I 4.5'd Bad Meets Evil because it never tries to be anything more than a fun, rap battle-esque album

between Royce and Em. The beats never try to be anything more than just a backseat to both the MC's

and the MC's just have fun varying their flows in different tones and styles.

Its just a really, really fun mixtape and Em's most enjoyable album since MMLP. For me at least. Its

an opinion bro.

idk eminem show had really good moments

I'd gank my fuckin teeth before id ever bite my tongue

I'd slice my gums, get struck by fuckin' lightning twice at once

And die and come back as vanilla ice's son

And walk around the rest of my life spit on

And kicked and hit with shit, every time i sung

Like r kelly as soon as "bump n' grind" comes on

lol that's some quality shit right there.

Definitely not a return to form. More baby steps, barely above Recovery. At this rate maybe Em will release another classic album some time around 2050.

this album is so good

I'm gonna get so much shit for this but I honestly enjoy it more than any of his other ones, I think. Probably gonna write a really long review for this, defending my opinion/score, but it's gonna take a while for me to actually write it, so bear with me.

In the meantime, feel free to crucify me for the impending Album Rating: 4

So far I don't really have a score for it, but I can say it reminds me of Encore, some great parts mixed with a lot of *facepalm wtf* moments, so for now its more like Encore 2.

Speaking of lyrical wit, that last verse in Love Game is pretty sick.

And i don't see why Berzerk's getting so much hate, easily the most entertaining song on the album

Evil Twin, Rhyme or Reason, Bad Guy, Legacy, So Far and Brainless (yup) go hard too

Rap God's got some meat on it, but the beat doesn't do much to keep me hooked, which is too bad since his flow is killer

through most of the song

The rest is okay i guess, haven't given Wicked Ways a proper listen yet

Someone try this: Listen to Brainless directly followed by Legacy, flows together perfectly
