i was referring to it sounding more straightforward rocky than it sounding poppy. afi's sound has always changed but i really wouldn't be upset if their future albums sound like this, or darker.

Disagree. I still play this album a lot. I think it's consistent without any real filler. The album never really lets up and that makes for a good, straight listen.

Only thing that gets me is the album has two different sounds. It's like a new sound (which sounds brilliant) and then their old punk style, and it kind of makes the album a little rocky in my opinion.

Woah^ haha weird. My bad. It is just a dissapointment for me everytime I try and listen to this album now. Sing the Sorrow, Black Sails, december, art of drowning, hell even crash love I listened to for a long time and this just faded quickly.
