The first 4 songs are the worst things ever. It would be more of a challenge for them to write an album worse than this than making a good one

Knowing them I wouldn't assume anything. Parts of Nightmare were worse than this, like parts of the t/t and some of the ballads. This is just boringness personified

I liked just under half the songs on nightmare and I thought the rest were decent. This just seemed so uninspired and dull

Tracks from 7 to 10 are decent.

I had this at 2 but since I like almost everything else they did I decided to give this the chance to

grow. And so it did.

I still don't know how much I like Nightmare.

t/t, buried Alive and Save Me are all very solid songs from Nightmare. I really tried with this, but after a week, my brain was numb

I hope to see Arin doing something in the next album. He played The Rev parts so I guess he can do

better than this... "Lars-ness".

"Danger Line" is underrated though.

Lol he was so mediocre. the rev had some good drumming like in Almost Easy, even if that wasn't a good song but Arin was like a garageband sample loop

M. Shadows vocals in the chorus kills Danger Line for me.

Threads always go off a tangent these days

All this A7X talk has actually inspired me to go back and jam Waking The Fallen

Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are both great and they should be everyone's best Sevenfold based on the style they prefer.

City, Nightmare and s/t are all 3.5's for me, with City probably being the best. Nostalgia, probably.

I really dislike the second half of City, but Trashed and Scattered is one hell of a song

Second half is solid but first half is best, Bat Country is their best song probably

Waking the Fallen > City of Evil

Although the best riffs on CoE obliterate all

i can barely listen to metalcore in general now, but I will revisit WTF when I'm feeling up for this band. Debut is horrendous

City and Waking are both 4s for me. I like everything in City, and I rated Waking a 4.5 because I

just couldn't resist... but I won't bother you all with the story, of course.

Anyway, the lyrics alone of "Danger Line" make it a good song for me, and in my opinion you can feel

pain in Shadows' voice when he sings "the damage done is far beyond repair". That song is a big

feel.

"Waking the Fallen > City of Evil

Although the best riffs on CoE obliterate all" [2]

"I can't really listen to 2000's metalcore anymore"

Well I never could so there must be a reason if I like them. If it makes you feel better, I can't

get past the first song on Jane Doe.
