And that's pretty much why I like them. Dreaminess is cool but it doesn't really grab you; blast beats help alleviate that.

Sure, there are some superficial differences. Probably need to listen to it more. But I haven't listened to Envy in about 5 years and as soon as I heard this album I immediately thought of them.

have you listened to much bm in this style? they kinda have an envy vibe but the constant color changes with the guitar strumming are standard for the style. most bands don't sound as cool doing it though imo.
