That pretty much summarizes the second half of the album for me. So yeah, you can well 2 it, you wouldn't like the rest of it any better.

The sax solos were amazing though not gonna lie. they did a better job with them then Ever Forthright did.

monotonous- "Dull, tedious, and repetitious; lacking in variety and interest."

What you provided here is not a definition. These are related words to monotony.

I am not disagreeing with your opinion. Instead, I am stressing that it is important to use the correct terminology when describing music. The true meaning would be lost on those yet to hear the record.

I bumped it to a 4 for personal preference, but cannot deny this is literally just ambience , djent riff, ambience, djent riff, over and over again. But its really fun, and totally has its kick ass moments.

I'm not sure where all the hate comes from. most metal is just riff/verse/riff/chorus ect anyway so it's not like it's any worse than that

Sure but I think its harder to feel as much variety when most of the riffs are just characterized by changing the feel on drums constantly. See your point doe.

Ha I'm a Post Rock fan at heart so clearly variety isn't so much of an issue...

Because the riffs and ambiences here sound too much alike.

Their third album needs to be the experimental one. This seems like the stepping stone Perspective should have been.

As much as I love this band, the

"djent, ambience and bass, djent, break, epic vox ending" is starting to get stale.

I can't get into this band. They're talented and stuff, undeniably. But for some reason it just doesn't click with me.
