AB/AP is a mixed bag but its highlights are actually fantastic where this just has The Phoenix and Miss Missing You which are solid but not on the level of Novocaine, Uma Thurman, Jet Pack Blues or Twin Skeletons

This album is so fucking good.



It's a little discolored by touting "My Songs Know..." as the lead single. I generally hate mid-paced FOB, which is why the album after this is so lame to me.



That song is alright, but all the rest are at the very least good. "Alone Together" is amazing.

The Phoenix, My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark, Alone Together, and Just One Yesterday are all certified bangers that are every bit as good as anything they made pre-hiatus.
