What Evok said. We all know they play crazy weird tech shit. It’s just refreshing to see them shed the dingier production so the value of their compositions can be heard more clearly. It de-emphasises the “cavernous” trend and emphasises the uniqueness.

Ok as I am revisiting this band's discography I gotta say... What happened here? Not only the production is worse than Outre and Swarth, but the songwriting feels kind of uninspired aswell in comparison with those two. The best thing about this one are the atmospheric non-metal sections.
