believe or not it's possible to like albums from genres you don't like

nu metal always had potential with the cool bass grooves and hip hoppins but sadly it is most of the time executed in a childish and simplistic manner ala limp bizkit
but hey the big stuff of every genre is usually shit so i guess it's just life?
