"I always thought Blake Richardson carried them scene vibes thick and fast, polished and proggy as he is"
You meant "though he is" not "as he is".

Idk, someone wrote a review with a morally wrong opinion. Classic sput.

"as" can carry a concessive nuance and I've never heard anyone use "though he is" at the end of a natural English sentence in the 3rd decade of the 21st century

"As" can carry a concessive nuance the same way literally can mean figuratively. At best it's ambiguous and relies on the surrounding context for meaning.
And even if you haven't heard "though he is" at the end of a "natural" English sentence (whatever that is) in the third decade of the 21st century, which is the past 6-18 months depending on how you count your decades, I can assure you that it still means what it meant before that period.

"the same way literally can mean figuratively."
untrue. that's an antonym specifically understood by deconstruction; as just has a lot of different everyday valences
won't deny that sentence would scan a lot clearer with spoken inflection, but jfc prog threads are tightarsed enough without amateur grammar vigilante woodtouching over the sanctity of what things are *supposed* to mean

Were those natural English sentences or...? xD
Amateur grammar vigilante is a nice turn of phrase so kudos, but what on earth is "woodtouching"?

Like, for luck?
What does touching wood have to do with either amateur grammar vigilantism or the sanctity of meaning? Did you perchance mean pearl-clutching?
|

touching wood makes it feel like you've warded off bad luck against ambiguous situations that you don't rly understand the workings of so idk, maybe it's best kept ambiguous ¯_(ツ)_/¯

That’s bc Sitar is a pseudo-woke autistic gorilla the kind of guy who could tell you more about Max Kellerman’s recent hot takes than Afghanistans impending civil war or if with a gun to his mother’s head was tasked with pointing to Ethiopia on a map would never again be able to nestle against the hairy bush of the baboon that shat him into this world

Someone's horny.

Wow that comment is almost 2 weeks old but still relevant

but you have to remember that Roger Waters was a member of Pink Floyd (and, as rumour has it, so was the 12 year old Dave Mustaine, but that's another story)
Explain.
...
NOW.
