Austin was just so popular in the scene at the time, I think it was hard for fans to get over him being replaced no matter who it was



In hindsight even with of the some negative things i've heard about Jerry he seems like a saint now compared to Austin. Would've been neat to see them do something more besides that punk goes pop cover.



Getting The Flood, and Glass Cloud was obviously a win though

He did have a sick and unique scream. The deluxe edition of this album is fucking awesome

That first album was definitely a banger. They took a genre that was typically repetitive but added a gloss to it. The clean vocals are also so good which elevates it.



I think this album is even better (especially the deluxe edition) as I keep saying because they added like 5-6 new tunes that bang and make the whole album way better
