Yeah, 1.5. This is a great cd by the way. Oh wait, we battled before in the COE column.

Overall this album isn't a classic, but I certainly think it's an enjoyable listen. I actually enjoyed every song on here. I no longer listen to it as much though, especially because the band suck arse now.

Just recently bought Avenged Sevenfold after owning COE for some time. I bought COE cause i heard a couple of songs that I liked. Although I still think the cd is great I never thought I would buy another one of their albums. However because of all the controversy surrounding the new album from former fans and new fans especially former fans of their older material only I downloaded songs from Waking The Fallen. My question is since I already supported them by purchasing 2 cds should I support them further by purchasing Waking The Fallen? BTW I paid a few dollars for Radio Head's In Rainbows when the download was legally totally free. Just wanted your opinion especially if you think they blow now. I like all their albums except SFTST

Think of it this way:
Avenged Sevenfold's S/T was an inverted cover of Waking the Fallen.
That is a very good analogy of how to compare the quality of each.

But you gave this a 4......that would mean like this better than WTF...that would mean....D:

Never have I once downloaded anything before I bought it. I buy stuff blind. 100% successful. If this was true you wouldn't have 20 albums rated 1.

I'm leaning toward buying it but if I do buy it how much do you think actually goes to the band? Is it enough for each of them to buy something off Mcdonald's dollar menu?

Actually Mike, the 20 albums I've rated 1, were pretty much based off the singles I've heard. Could care less about hearing the actual album. Why so much thought put into buying an album? Basically, just buy this man. This is their best CD.

Only question now is ever heard of Japanese Pressings? I was on target online and looking to to see if I could go right across the street and buy the cd when I saw a version for around $30. I thought is was a mistake but it says it's a Japanese pressing. Does anyone know if they are superior in sound quality. I work at an AV store and my 2 main speakers alone retail for $5,000. I really like the downloads of WTF I got. Do you think it's worth the extra money?

Just found out that cd would be $70 but features both SOTST and WTF
