Yeah it's probably mostly the vocal delivery and general odd song structures that throw people off. Also, everyone has that stage where due to not having a lot of experience with music they listen to those bands where they look back and it's like "man, they fucking sucked."

Some of these vocals are really bad, in particular the majority of the screams. Is there anywhere I can get a version without any vocals at all? If not I may just persist and force myself to get accustomed to the vocals so I can still appreciate the instruments.
