Sweet man they are pretty great live, I saw them in '07 and '08 and they ruled both times

I've seen snippets of every band (which was like 5 bands) I wanted to see on tv afterwards and they all sounded like crap

Which bands? (I only went on Thursday btw, so can't speak for the other gigs).

Before I went to a concert with the Black Keys last month, people told me they suck live, and a review two days earlier from Norway said it was crappy as well (two out of six stars) - but the one they held in Copenhagen might've been one of the best shows I've seen all year. So hopefully, Bloc Party'll "ball-up" for Denmark too.

But the thing is: The Black Keys always tear it up live.

Hated the album at first. Wanted Intimacy pt. 2. Growing on me!

4 years after what appeared to be their final album - the divisive electronica-driven 'Intimacy' - English quartet Bloc Party return for their 4th LP 'Four'. With barely a synth to be heard, the predominant influence here is 90s alt & grunge, making this a raw & urgent guitar-heavy release which is surprisingly aggressive at stages. While this style doesn't always suit the band or result in a totally cohesive record, it does make for an intriguing & occasionally rewarding listen when they find the correct balance of tension & melody. Lord knows why they excluded the 2 great bonus tracks though! Recommended Tracks: V.A.L.I.S., Truth, Kettling & Team A.

Jammed this for the first time in a while during my morning run today. Some fun stuff on here and I dig the heavier tunes but still a bit too much filler. It doesn't have the same 'magic' as their first two for me, unfortunately.

"don't get the hate. "

It's just a fucking lame effort after their last albums, that were total masterpieces!
