Actually I think all of your 1s are what make your objectivity so high - they drive your average down, and, since most people only have a handful of 1s, they improve your variance - though I guess if you have too many they may drive the variance down some as well.

The way I view it, 1s should be reserved for utterly tuneless garbage that hardly if at all registers as music.
In an ideal world that would be a 0 but as on Sput 1 is the lowest they should be reserved for that kind of stuff.
Also I don't listen to stuff I figure I'll hate so I only have a handful rated lower than 2.5.

Hm, never thought about those kinda percentages. Did some math and apparently mine go like:
5 is 2.7%, 4.5 is 6.4%, 4 is 22.1%, 3.5 is 25.8%, 3 is 19.1%, 2.5 is 13.8%, 2 is 5.6%, 1.5 is 3.5%, and 1 is 1.1%
