I have just rewatched for the first time S1. Man it was campy af and the soap opera bits are to the max. Sometimes it was complex to stay serious with all the laughable drama. But I still loved how last episode it just all wraps up with all the mini-cliffhangers.

I don't know, I always loved the small town in the mountains atmosphere, with normal people doing normal people, and some also very peculiar folks, while there's this very dark and crippling, unnerving things going on at the same time. It all added to my enjoyment of the whole thing.



As for the comeback season, Lynch just went full on wild mode with his creativity, and the result was a bunch of weird stuff, weird plots and people, that honestly I couldn't care all that much, but I understand that it can appeal to a lot of people here. I just wanted to come back to Twin Peaks again, but I didn't even know what to expect of a comeback after almost 20 years has passed by.
