ecailles was my #3 for 2010 i think. i'll be really sad if i check this out and it's not amazing. :/

the idea of this kind of music is great but aside from the opening song on this and the opening song on ecailles, there really isn't a band that has brought shoegaze influenced black metal to it's true potential. actually the nameless coyote release even though shorter was much better than this

i think the artists have a hard dealing with the length that is expected of this kind of music. haven't actually liked any shoegaze influenced BM since ecailles so it might've just been a "first time" buzz for me. haven't checked out nameless coyote yet though. gonna go do it.
