Both have bastardized their respective genres by capitalizing on the fame of certain stereotypes of
the genre. Both attempt to play a heavy style of music but can't resist resorting to poppy autotune-y
vocals to give them commercial appeal
sounds like some crazy conspiracy theory. they're both pretty boring pop acts in their
predictability and sound packaging but i don't know where you get "can't resist"... like anyone should
have to resist commercial appeal. let's all see who can get the brokest!

Actually, AA! and BC are pretty different. They have their similarities, but AA! focuses a lot more on the "core" side of things while BC focuses more on the electro/dance elements of the music while employing some breakdowns and harsh vocals.

Sonny Moore being a fag made me not want to give it a chance
That's a poor reason not to listen to any of his music. Jonny Craig is an absolute douche, but his voice is beautiful. Sonny may be a "fag," but for all you know, he could be making music that's right up your ally (likely not since his music is downright shit, but you never know).

I've found some of the artists UKF salvages are actually pretty good. I mean, it's dubstep, so it gets annoying pretty fast, but the artists that limit the "wub wub wub" crap shine through with their smooth electro.

UKF has some good artists they show (if we're talking about the YouTube channel). Just look at 16bit.

He's actually a really nice and humble person in real life.
and I don't think this is really garbage. I'm sure of Skrillex wasn't the most popular brostep artist then he wouldn't be given the auto-1s. He's one of the better brostep producers. Plus you have to say it's impressive that he helped jump this out into the mainstream so quickly. I just saw a movie trailer with a dubstep song blasting throughout (something dumb about pilots) and then there was a beer commercial where they were all moving in slow motion with beers in their hands and bass wobbling.
