I actually liked this album a lot better then 'The Blackening' except for one major thing. The last song 'This is Who We Are' is so damn laughable and so un-metal that it really spoiled everything else that they accomplished on this album. All the other songs are fine except for that last song that just shits on everything else.

Generic is actually a good way of describing 'Who We are', but the children's choir just made is so un-metal for me and it was so damn lame that I was shaking my head in pity. Everything else is fine and I enjoyed the album ok, except for the last song and it was a really poor decision to end on such an awful note. They might as well have ended it at track six or at least dig into their demo tapes to see what stronger material they had. :L
Still, it was excellent up to that point.

'I am Hell' was an awesome way to open this album, no doubt about that. 'Locust' and 'Darkness Within' were standouts as well but the rest was more or less up to snuff at least (bar the last track of course).
