Mastopop its terrible its like Mastodon and U2 mixed into one with some crappy alice in chains knock off riffs. This is coming from a really big fan of the first three albums. Crack the Skye was pretty good as well... but nothing compared to the first three. Its really too bad I don't see what is so special about this absolute load of horseshit I have tried listening to it over and over. ITS UNORIGINAL, ITS ANNOYING AS FUCK (THE CREATURE LIVES MAKES ME WANT TO PISS AND SHIT ALL OVER THE KIDS CAUSE IT SUCKS HORSEFUCK). and yeah its just a terrible album do not see the big deal guys sorry

It just depends what you want out of an album. Crack the Skye is very homogenous (aka all the songs sound similar) which is good in some people's minds, bad in others. The Hunter is more dynamic, which can make things more interesting but some people will say it is less "focused". Imo The Hunter is a more enjoyable listen.

Blood Mountain is kind of goofy, but I still like it. I mean...Capillarian Crest!
But agreed about Remission and Leviathan. Easily their two best imo, and two of my favorite albums overall.
