When you screw up your eyes
When you screw up your face
When you throw out your arms
And keep changing your shape ...
Man, that bassline just kicks.

My first was 'Seventeen Seconds.' I remember I got super into Depeche Mode in the early 2000s. I then downloaded A Forest off Napster likely it was still around then and was one of the best songs I ever heard hehe plus I love forests in general.

Trickert I think it just sounded a bit off to me and I never really paid attention to the lyrics. I thought they were dumb. The bass is probably the best part but bass alone doesn't make a song despite what some other people could think.

Screw and The Baby Screams are my least favorite from this album. Still, I like them, but I’ll skip each of the, from time to time.

The Baby Screams is ok. It's better than Screw, but it ain't great. I think the best thing about Screw is looking at the song lists on my phone (I mean cd). Heh I ripped my own damn cds a lot in the past. Anyways, at least Screw is short. It sucks but it's only 2:39. That's largely why I didn't factor it into dragging the rating down any. The Baby Screams is longer but it's fine it's like a 3/5 I dunno. Not enough either to sink the album. Sink HAH :P

Ok FINE!!! I'll play it again! I don't think it's a 1/5 but I just feel like it's pointless. It doesn't add anything to the album. *I am actually typing this while smirking, this isn't anger typing*
So far it's basically just the bass line that carries it and the xylophone in there at the beginning. oh HO HO HO HUH HUH why do you scrub your eyes? I don't think it's good but it's not like I am offended by it. heh DOO DOO DOO DOO!! the ending is alright. Heh I can change my opinion because they aren't facts, but it just doesn't do anything for me. Screw, that is, the song, yet.......

That Screw baseline is heavy mutant funk, and I just can't deny it. Always wished that they had come up with more like that.

Album has no weak songs, and I’m joining the club on Sinking worship! Also, I really love this cover version, almost identical instrumentals, but with a female vocal. Simply gorgeous: https://youtu.be/-3zLyTzpFBo

^ Playing the Shroud. It's a nice cover. Waiting for her to emote more. But it's hard to *sigh* screw up Sinking!

Cannot believe they put Screw on this and left the Exploding Boy as a B-side. Someone should be fired.

I have no issues with Screw, digging its silliness. It’s like a constant huge farting bass over an early Madonna piano/synth theme, most likely the one from Open Your Heart.

If my farts sounded like that I’d be farting more often than I already do

You’ll also need a True Blue-era Madonna by your side!

Exploding Boy is terrif, would have been a good replacement for Baby Screams if one had to swap one out.
