sgt pepper white album and this are kinda the holy trio for me; revolver is probably next best
white album is a total trip for me (not in a dumb 'whoa man trippy' way) and the way it culminates
in the (amazing) last two tracks is awesome. im also hardpressed to find a track i dont really like
('don't pass me by' (screw you, ringo!) and maybe a few others are a good contender)--not much of it
is 'filler' to me because, to me, it works so well as an album. it also basically caused me to fall
in love with this band. in a way the white album works just because i have -faith- in whatever
theyre doing for those 31 tracks...so maybe i'm bending backwards to like the album. whatever it is,
it's their best album for me.
this has a brilliant first half with basically all good songs and then the 'prog-rock' second half
medley, while having a -few- things i might be able to do without (specifically mean mr mustard and
polythene pam), flows amazingly and has that same 'trip' quality i get with white album. plus 'the
end' is the best ending to an album ever except for white album (revolution 9 + good night is
unbeatable to me).

i really like revolution 9 but -obviously- understandable why someone wouldnt. the combo of revolution 9 (total mess; sonic hell) and good night (beautiful, corny, whatever) is genius to me. great closer.

Picking a favorite Beatles album is very difficult since I love them all. However 'Abbey Road' is always my first grab. Every tune is great and you can just listen to it so easily start to finish. The song styles are varied and not as consistent as say 'Revolver' but it is a masterpiece of what they could produce as individuals and as a band.
