Deviant, what would you consider to be dubstep? You seem to know what you're talking about, and I would love to have a bit of a firmer grasp on the genre, if that makes sense
Despite how the genre has changed and evolved anything that meshes the deep bass grooves of dub with the shuffling half steps of garage is dubstep

this is so so good

I was having a bit of trouble trying to see how albums like this and James Blake can be put in the same genre as whomp heavy artists such as Skrillex and Excision. Not to say they aren't good, just very different. Concise definition, big help. Cheers

Think of it like Metalcore; a hybrid genre that when started was an almost perfect balance of its two main parts, before new artists started focusing strictly on one part and as a result, turned it into a novelty

All Yours, Perfection, Suffer Not, and Always are hauntingly great. As well as Angel Eyes and Back Chat.

Also, it's as if I've heard Back Chat somewhere before... That piano line is very recognisible
Edit: and Always sounds like it could be on Cobblestone Jazz (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Cobblestone-Jazz/28648/)

gye nyame is a ghanaian symbol that literally means except god, denoting god as the exception to all things. actually adopted by christians there to pretend like christianity and the local religion had lots in common or sth.
im not religious at all (raised a lil jewish) but something about the symbol's always attracted me, esp cause i feel like the regional ideas about god are so much more pure than the religious nuts in the western world.
