I mean I know the crowd at Hot Topic is getting younger and far more scene than in recent years, and some malls only have HT for a music store but still I don't follow the draw of bands like this.
the last time i went to hot topic 90% of the store was directed to hip hop kids..like waka flacka and little wayne..etc..
